ROGERS PLACE WOWS FANS AS DOORS OPEN FOR FIRST TIME
An estimated 60,000 people visited Rogers Place, the new home of the Edmonton Oilers NHL team, as it was opened to fans for the first time.
For the very first time, the city got a first-hand look at the future of Downtown Edmonton and ICE District —Alberta’s capital.
Fans flocked in to soak-up the Rogers Place experience. From seeing the massive, high-definition, LED scoreboard in action, impressive views of the bowl from every level, to overlooking Ford Hall with its stunning architecture.
Rogers Place project solutions include Refrigeration and over 50 Heated Holding, Humidified Transport Cabinets supplied by Food Warming Equipment Co. (FWE). Models include the UHFS-10 for refrigeration and model TS-1826-18 (HUMI-TEMP).
The Humi-Temp series is one of the best performing heated bulk food cabinets on the market today. Suitable for any kitchen or transport applications. Simply load the TS-1826-18 with your trays of cooked, hot food and this warmer will keep your food hot and ready until serving time.
The Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG) has also committed to cutting down on food waste, with prepared but unserved food being donated to the local food bank.
