ROGERS PLACE WOWS FANS AS DOORS OPEN FOR FIRST TIME

Rogers Place
“Rogers Place and the ICE District will have a transformative long-term impact on Edmonton, both in the team’s approach for the design, construction and operations and the project’s ability to help shape the city’s future,” said Jan Steingahs, practice leader for HOK’s Calgary office.

An estimated 60,000 people visited Rogers Place, the new home of the Edmonton Oilers NHL team, as it was opened to fans for the first time.

For the very first time, the city got a first-hand look at the future of Downtown Edmonton and ICE District —Alberta’s capital.

Fans flocked in to soak-up the Rogers Place experience. From seeing the massive, high-definition, LED scoreboard in action, impressive views of the bowl from every level, to overlooking Ford Hall with its stunning architecture.

Rogers Place project solutions include Refrigeration and over 50  Heated Holding, Humidified Transport Cabinets supplied by Food Warming Equipment Co. (FWE).  Models include the UHFS-10 for refrigeration and model TS-1826-18 (HUMI-TEMP).
