The Lights Never Went Out at FWE

In an unprecedented year, where new challenges were thrown at manufacturers and operators at every turn, FWE has been able to stay fully staffed and ready to deliver all year.

Thanks to our dedicated workforce that is always ready and willing to adapt and persist, our lights never went out. We’ve had 15 straight months of on-time shipments and have been able to meet or beat our standard 3-4 week lead time all year. Whenever possible we have also met expedited ship dates, knowing our customers are essential businesses needing solutions now. Consistency is what you get when you order from FWE, with 99.1% on-time shipments over the past five years.

As customer demand has changed this year, we have adapted by customizing and modifying our products. When operators began to heavily rely on mobile ordering and pick-up solutions to sustain their businesses, we immediately invested in increased stock on products to fill those needs. We have also increased stock on many items in our Quick Ship program, so we can get units in the hands of operators when they need them most.

If our standard catalogue options have not fit a specific request, our engineering team has been on call to design custom solutions. From customizing serving well units for schools with full service sneeze guards and tray cut-outs to streamline classroom and hallway feeding to enhancing our line of hand sinks to provide easy access, our team has taken then new normal operations to the next level.

We’ve always prided ourselves here at FWE on our eagerness to learn, teach and grow into the future. Our team has worked closely with industry professionals to develop continuing education opportunities that fit the times. By tailoring our message to individualized training sessions, we’ve been able to host on demand FCSI webinars for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) both virtually and with in-person small groups.
