FWE Starts Cooking with West Knoxville’s New Event Center
PORTLAND, TENN. (March 18, 2015) – Deciding where your next big event will be held can be a daunting event in itself, but luckily Bridgewater Place is a perfect, new solution in the West Knoxville area. This unique, versatile facility offers full service planning that creates memorable events for weddings, luncheons, parties, meetings, reunions and everything in between.
Formerly a church, their newly renovated building with over 30,000 square feet of rentable spaces means no event is too big or too small. And with six total FWE moisture-temp (MT-1826-18) cabinets – three in their satellite kitchen upstairs and three in their main kitchen downstairs – Bridgewater Place has the perfect equipment for their team to deliver quality, fresh meals to all guests.
The versatile “Moisture-Temp” cabinets feature separate “air moisture” and “air temperature” controls. You can adjust them for the optimum temperature and moisture environments to hold food, maintaining that “just-cooked” quality longer than ever before. The “Moisture-Temp” heat system reduces waste and increases profits by allowing you to hold foods longer without sacrificing quality and customer satisfaction.
Bridgewater Place’s largest space, the Kingston Ballroom, is over 6,000 square feet that can easily accommodate 300 guests with banquet tables, which means a lot of plates to keep fresh! “Normally we do a lot of buffet meals and this equipment does us good for what we need,” said Executive Chef Sean Demarest.
All foods are prepared from scratch on the day of the event by Demarest and his close team. He went on to explain, “we cook the day of and pop in cooked foods in the cabinet as they are ready. We obviously have our routines down.” He takes pride in creating custom menus that are event-specific so that every guest has a memorable experience.
While on location, Demarest let us experience exactly how each guest should feel while at Bridgewater Place by sharing hot and fresh chocolate chip cookies with us. They were delicious and most definitely should be an item on your next event’s menu!
